Statistics: Russia’s car output falls 17.5% to 100,600 units Feb

MOSCOW, Mar 17 (PRIME) -- Russia’s car output fell 17.5% on the year to 100,600 vehicles in February, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement Thursday.

Production of trucks increased 42.7% on the year to 11,600 in February. Output of buses went up 6.7% on the year to 2,516 buses.

In January–February, production of cars fell 26.6% on the year to 149,000 units, while production of trucks increased 29.4% to 14,000 units and output of buses gained 1.4% to 3,200 units.
